HighPointe Services launches new online classroom

March 2020

HighPointe Services is excited to launch its new online classroom. During the pandemic our clients were at risk of isolation and possible regression in socialization and independence skills. In response to the challenge HighPointe created a new broadcast studio and developed over 60 hours per week of original programming. The online classroom was a wonderful success and will become the platform for future online programming including a new morning talk show co-hosted by our clients.

HighPointe Services Launched New Residential Services Division

March 2021

HighPointe Services is excited to Launch its new Residential Services Division providing residential management services to clients on the state Medicaid Comprehensive Service funding waiver. Chris Vasquez, Vice-President of Residential Services will oversee the program which is expected to serve over 100 clients in the next several years.

HighPointe Services Purchase New Flagship building 2022

June 1, 2022

HighPointe Services purchased its flagship program facility in Centennial. The organization had been a tenant in the building renting 2/3rds of the space since 2011 but decided to purchase the facility to expand its program space by over 6,000 square feet. The additional space will allow HighPointe to meet the growing demand for its services by serving over 50 new clients. It will also allow the organization to provide new recreation services in its facility.

HighPointe Services Opens New Program Space

After a year of design and construction, HighPointe Services is excited to announce the opening of its new expanded program space at its Centennial flagship location. The new 6,000 square foot space includes a tech lab, art studio, classrooms and a large recreation space for social clubs, parent meetings, and other community events.

HighPointe Services Selected NEEP Grant -2024

March 21, 2024

HighPointe Services was honored to be one of a select group of non-profits in Colorado for inclusion in the 2024 Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP) which helps nonprofits that serve income-qualified Coloradans across the state in upgrading their facilities to increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs. NEEP staff help conduct an energy assessment and supply grant funding to offset the purchase and installation of new equipment, including efficient lighting, insulation, low-flow fixtures, and HVAC systems.

HighPointe is very excited and honored to be included in this innovative and climate sensitive program.

HighPointe Services Awarded a $100,000 Grant for its Recreation Program

HighPointe Services was excited and honored to be included in the City of Centennial’s Bronco Youth Activity Grant Program. We were awarded the maximum grant amount of $100,000 to be used for recreation services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. HighPointe plans to launch a variety of socials programs in 2024 including Exceptionals Kids Clubs for children ages 4-12, Livin’ Life Club for high school and college age young adults, and Club HighPointe for adults ages 21-35. The HighPointe Services Recreation program is excited to announce that its program offerings will begin in the summer of 2024 with a variety of social clubs and outdoor adventure trips. The clubs will take place during weekends and the outdoor adventure trips will take place during the week and weekends. It is an exciting expansion of services to further enhance the lives of our clients.
